Are you tired and weary? Are you facing challenges that seem insurmountable?
To the people of Israel in a time of exile, Isaiah 40:31 says, “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” It is important that we listen to the voice of God over and above every other voice that seeks our attention.
When we wait for the Lord, He promises to give us renewed strength and to lift us up above to a place where we can gain His perspective. It's about trusting in God and waiting for Him to act on our behalf. When we put God first, we will be able to run with renewed vigour and to walk with Him for the rest of our lives.
