We Believe In
One God
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, eternally existent, creator of all things.
Jesus Christ
the only begotten divine Son of God, born of a virgin, and His sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection, Lordship over the church, continuing intercession, and His second coming and eternal reign on earth over all things, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The Holy Spirit
poured out by the Father and the Son, inspiring and illuminating the Word of God, empowering our prayer, witnessing to and serving in the world.
The Bible
its divine inspiration and infallible rule of faith and conduct.
Church Oversight
by Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers, Elders and Deacons for the perfecting of the saints that they may do the work of the ministry of Christ in the church and the world.
The Christian Commission
to evangelism and missionary endeavour within our families and communities, both locally and internationally.
The Proclamation of the Gospel
with evidence of signs following.
Being Born Again
In humanity's inherent corruptness and necessity to be born from above through faith in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
The Sacraments
of the Lord’s Supper, and baptism by immersion.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
and the evidence of the gifts and fruit of the Spirit as available to all who believe.
The Rule of Jesus
to judge the living and the dead. We are all subject to the justice of God. Those who follow Him are saved by grace through faith and receive eternal life and a just reward.
The Covenant of Marriage
between one man and one woman in loving, life-long commitment before God, who created each before their conception, with a plan and purpose for their lives as individuals and together, and in marriage as the only context for a sexual relationship.
The Affirmation of those who are Unmarried
because sexuality and marital status are only part of what it means to be human and cannot solely define us.
The Gift of Work
paid or unpaid, in or outside the church, as a God-given means of self-worth, self-support and the ability to contribute to one's community and society.
Giving to God
and to others, with time, talents, and money.
