The true meaning of Christmas is in the name 'Emmanuel', which means 'God with us'. And that is who our saviour is, Jesus Christ, who is God, but came down to earth to live among us many years ago, that through believing in him?his life, death, and resurrection?all people can have access to and live with our creator, God.
